SPORTS YOU

This is a free communication app that is used by the entire team.  It can be used as an app on a mobile device or by visiting www.sportsyou.com. Coaches will help make sure athletes are in the correct group. Parents, it is your responsibility to make sure at least one parent is in the WBC HS Parent Group.  It is not necessary for parents to join the athlete groups but if you would like, please contact us and we will help you join as a "family" member. This is the PRIMARY form of communication from coaches.

We strongly encourage all parents to join the group. The FB group is a great resource for getting/sharing info both within our group and further sharing outside of WBC. We respect that not everyone has or wants a FB presence so we do our best to make sure that all important information gets posted on SY and the Team Portal as well. 

SPEAKING WITH COACHES

All athletes are welcome to, at the appropriate time, speak individually with their coach about their rowing performance and/or boat placement. Coaches will NOT speak to parents regarding these topics. If you feel a conversation needs to be had then we are happy to schedule a meeting between the coach, athlete and parent(s). We do understand that you may have questions regarding the program, regattas, practice, etc. We ask that you first try to find your answer in our online resources, contact the HS Board Rep, reach out to a Booster parent, or ask your child. If you still have questions you are welcome to email the WBC Director of Rowing at dor@williamsburgboatclub.org and or reach out to a coach on SportsYou.
