Summer Rowing Programs

At WBC we have three opportunities for Middle Schoolers to row with us during the summer.

  1. Weekly Summer Rowing Practice (MUST be a returning rower, or a rower who has just completed the June LTR camp)

  2. 1wk Summer Learn to Row Camp in June

  3. 1wk Summer Learn to Row Camp in August

Summer Rowing

1) Summer rowing practices $300

  • Middle Schoolers will row 4 times per week in a coached practice.

    • When: June 26 - Aug 3, 9-11am, Monday thru Thursday

    • Who: This program is for rising 7th, and 8th graders who have already participated in a WBC rowing program AND Those who participate in the LTR Camp below

  • How to Register

    • Click on the link to the left. This will take you to ​the iCrew home page.

    • You will need to create an iCrew account if you don't already have one.

    • After you completely populate your rower's iCrew profile (parents who don't row, do not have iCrew accounts), please 'Add' the Summer Rowing "TEAM" to the profile.

    • Now you will be able to sign the Swim Verification Form, the Liability Form, and Pay

2) Middle School JUNE Learn to Row camp 2023

  • Middle School Learn-to-Row this Summer will be a 1-week (5 days) coached rowing camp. 

  • Tuesday - Friday 9am - 11am, Saturday Regatta, June 24th 10am-noon (Family, Friends & Dogs Welcome)

  • Athlete Dropoff: 8:45am 

  • Who: This program is for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who have never participated in a WBC rowing program

  • Cost: $100

    • Note: After the rower has completed this week of camp, they are elligible to participate in our summer rowing program starting  on June 26.

3) Middle School AUGUST Learn to Row camp 2023 - right before fall season begins.

  • This camp will begin Wed Aug 16 - Friday Aug 19, 9am-11am and Sat 10am-12noon

  • Cost $100

  • Note: After the rower has completed this week of camp, they are elligible to participate in our fall rowing program starting  on Aug 28.

    • Athlete Dropoff: 8:45 AM

    • Morning Practice 9-11:00 AM

    • Saturday Regatta: 10-Noon

      • (Family, Friends & Dogs Welcome)

  • Please bring​ a towel, sunscreen, water bottle (not disposable), lunch, a pair of running sneakers that also can get wet, a hat, and sunglasses.
