 From our Regatta Director, Rebecca

Welcome to the fifth annual Beak of the Chick Regatta, hosted by Williamsburg Boat Club. We wanted to create a fun regatta that is an unusual distance 3251M for 2023. But whatever it turns out to be, it is guaranteed to be bone shakin' racin'. The course will begins about X meters up river from the finish line which will be right in front of the large spectator area. Bring your binocs if you want, but the finish line is literally right in front of you when you are sitting in your beach chair on the shore. The spectator area is right at the edge of the river.  The view is amazing.  You can see practically the whole race from your chair.  All ages of rower and classifications of boats are welcome.

The Beak of the Chick is held at the Chickahominy Riverfront Park in Williamsburg, Virginia, one of North America's most popular vacation destinations. The Chickahominy is a wide river and the course is buoyed and uncomplicated, allowing for a wonderful rowing experience for all ages and stages of rowers.
